Ranging from bare metal to the cloud, our electronics expertise turns concepts into reality. As consultants, we experience a fascinating and diverse variety of projects making each day unique. Examples include power supplies, sensors, signal processing, detectors, antennas, radio propagation, wireless systems and circuits, IoS and Android applications, cloud-based services, Bluetooth, and Zigbee. Our team designs typically 10 to 20 new circuit boards per year including wireless links, embedded antennas, microprocessors, DSP and more. Markets include consumer products, automotive, military, industrial, and medical.

Responsibilities:

• Technical expertise

o Develop brand-new designs at the circuit, code, and system levels
o Develop and implement innovative solutions to difficult technical problems
o Assist others (customers and coworkers alike) in a collaborative environment

• Customer support

o Understand customer products and requirements in order to design and test hardware, firmware and software.
o Write and evaluate product requirements as needed
o Manage customer projects and meet deadlines on deliverables.
o Engage in direct regular communication with customers throughout project.

• Selling support

o Participate in sales calls, visits, and presentations
o Draft and review proposals for new projects
o Actively seek out new sales opportunities with existing customers

• Team mentoring and relationships

o Work alongside Phase 1 Engineering engineers, technicians, and lab assistants to complete work
o Mentor, teach, and coach engineers, technicians, and lab assistants while managing projects.

Requirements:

• The ability to work in a self-directed, fast paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to continuously learn new technical concepts and skills.
• BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience preferred in areas noted below in “Experience Desired” section.

Experience Desired:

We’re looking for an electrical engineer who loves to design new products. The following areas of interest and experience are preferred:

• Circuit Design – Analog & power, sensors & interface circuits, AC, switching power circuitry
• Firmware and software – C, C++, Java, and Python for Microchip, Nordic Semi, ST Micro, Android, iOS, etc.
• Specialties – RF circuit design, antenna design, RF protocols (WiFi, BLE, Zigbee, etc.), motor controls, signal processing including Matlab experience, and any others
