History

Phase 1 started in the basement at Warren’s house in 2014. Warren and John developed products and relationships with Phase 1’s first two customers in Detroit and Colorado who are still active customers to this day. Phase 1 quickly had more work than they could handle and hired Eric, Cullen, and Nick, the first three team members who joined them in the basement eager to learn and contribute. After filling Warren’s basement (and garage) with a growing team and lots of equipment, Phase 1 moved to an office in Holland in 2017.

Over the next many years, they continued to hire talented, unique, top-of the class engineers in attempt to keep up with the demands of their customers. After another move and several more additions to the team, they are in their current office space.

In 2025, Warren passed away unexpectedly. John and the rest of the team have carried on Phase 1’s mission: Serving customers well with innovative electronics designs.
